Nike's Air Force 1 Low 'Light Khaki' Is Ready for Summer 2025

Bruce Kilgore's iconic Nike Air Force 1 Low is ready for summer.

Since 1983, the rugged silhouette has formed part of warm weather ensembles across Baltimore, New York City, and other urban landscapes. Ahead of Summer 2025, the "presidential" design has emerged in a handful of new styles – including a 'Light Khaki/Black' update.

Akin to so many other makeovers of Kilgore's 42-year-old creation, the newly-surfaced Air Force 1 Low keeps things straightforward. The titular 'Light Khaki' tone covers the bulk of the leather upper and old school sole unit. Inner lining and tongue labels follow suit. Profile swooshes and other branding across the sneaker deviate in pitch-dark contrast, adding yet another tally to the AF1's expansive two-tone catalog. Stitching across the pair also indulges in a 'Black' finish, injecting more personality into the simple execution. Lastly, the tried-and-proven outsole dons a speckled pattern that indicates it forms part of Nike's upcycling initiative.
