Celebrating a big anniversary in 2022, Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Air Force 1 is honoring a full forty years of existence. It’s been tributed in many ways, from a slew of special-edition Mids to an extensive “Anniversary Edition” collection that touches on everything from its origins in the Bronx to toothbrush-wielding releases. Now we’ve come across the next from that series — the Air Force 1 Low “Los Angeles” — by way of official Nike.com imagery.

Clad in a SoCal-friendly canvas construction, the pair looks to Dodgers royal blue for its upper, with complimentary solid white soles underfoot. Swooshes arrive in a light blue twill before a bevy of haphazardly-placed patches floods the upper. Each patch brings its own distinct LA theme, including military-inspired insignia gang-informed LA motifs, as well as surfing, skating, and hiking-style badges — there’s even a juice stand. Denoting its place in the brand’s anniversary collection, Nike has employed special tongue tags to complete the design.

A release date for the pair has not yet been set, but it is presumed to be released soon.. Until more details emerge, grab a first look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further developments.
