Air Force 1 Low “St. Patrick’s Day” Releasing Again on April 28th
It’s not often we see themed releases for St Patrick’s Day, with footwear brands often exhausted from a packed-full February. March is typically a hangover period, with All-Star Weekend, Valentine’s Day, Black History Month, and Chinese New Year stacking the month prior. For Nike, March is Air Max Month, too, often leaving the Irish celebration untouched. For 2021, though, it looks like we’ll be receiving at least two pairs, with matching a matching Air Max 90 and Air Force 1 “St Patrick’s Day” appearing today.
Here we take a look at the latter, a pair that boasts a striking white and green build, with shamrock green at the toe box, Swoosh, and liners, while the pair’s tongue, eyelets, toe, and quarter overlays indulge in a much deeper shade. The rear-end features a flutter of deeply-debossed four-leaf clovers, the most obvious callout to the festivity, arriving wedged in between piercing white leathers of the mid panel and rear overlay. Further pops of white arrive at the midsole, with its contrast stitching, heel paintwork, and rubber outsole recalling the upper’s deep green hue. Capping off the design is a few flecks of metallic gold — a nod to the origin story of the leprechaun — found at the dubrae set, lace aglets, and insole branding.
Though a release date for the Nike Air Force 1 “St Patrick’s Day” has not yet been officially confirmed, you would expect to see these Lucky Charms hit select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com this March. Until such confirmation arrives, grab an official look at the pair here below, and be sure to keep your eyes locked on the official HOUSE OF HEAT Twitter account for further updates.
