The Nike Air Force 1 Low Heats Up in Low-Key Luxe
Designed by sneaker legend Bruce Kilgore back in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 was in fact inspired by the traditional hiking boot. It eventually made its way to the jungle of sorts, having transformed into an urban jungle conquerer and streetwear staple that holds more clout than ever some 38 years later. The latest installment in the icon’s ever-increasing portfolio is a more understated tonal take, one that arrives with a slightly higher level of craftsmanship than we’ve come to expect from the humble Uptown. Classic white leather uppers lay the foundation for the pair, which rests atop a full-sail sole unit for that pre-aged aesthetic. Tongues and liners in white and laces and tumbled leather Swoosh overlays arrive in contrast to the pairs overlays that are veiled in a sandy-stone suede that sets off a downplayed lux feel.
