Available Now // Nike Gets Overzealous on the Air Force 1 with Zip-On Swooshes

It’s hard to reinvent the wheel over and over and over again. but Nike still finds news ways to update the Uptown without it ever feeling overdone. Their latest run has put a focus on customizable creations, from Uniteruppted’s “More Than an Athlete”simplistic sharpie-bearing release to a full tear-away take. For this pair, though, you can leave the pens and penknives in the draw, as the customizable feature requires only a quick zip.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Zip Swoosh” is just that, a pair that has removable zipper Swooshes. Three options are provided alongside the black tumbled leather sneaker, including two flat leather options in white and red, and one 3D Chrome hardware piece. The latter is complemented by more metallic piece on the heel branding and lace “AIR” dubraes, while tongue embroidery also dabbles in the metallic. Aside from that, the pair remains pretty relaxed, with the aforementioned leather covering the entire upper from toe to tongue to heel, and the pair sits atop a classic white sole unit.

Like most Uptowns of late, we’re expecting a handful of color options to be available — a white at the very least.
