Nike is doing the most with the Air Force 1 for its 40th anniversary, from collaborations with Louis Vuitton to Wrestling Belt-wielding releases. The silhouette’s mainline release schedule is delivering quality, too, like this upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “Malachite” that sends a handful of nods to the silhouette’s big birthday bash.

The second colorway of what appears to be a themed pack, this one anchors itself with uppers of the titular hue and sole units of white. From there, the pair looks to mid-blue Swooshes and heel overlays, before an onslaught of additional elements are introduced. Forefoot mini Swooshes of sail, midsole paint, and special “1”-branded tongue tags are all new additions, as are the 82-22 insole motifs, golden upper eye stays, and the lateral ankle debossing that denotes the anniversary celebrations. Lastly, the pair is completed by retro Nike Air branding that’s in line with Bruce Kilgore’s original text specs.

While an official release date for this double-Swooshed Nike Air Force 1 Low “Malachite” has yet to be revealed, the surfacing of product imagery would suggest that a release is on the way.
