After spending a few years on hiatus, the mid-cut model has been welcomed into 2022 with a thrust of themes new and old for the silhouette’s 40th anniversary. Now, as we’re about to embark on the Spring season, you can expect to see much more of the model, including a slew of colorful options — and some fairly crafty ones too, like this upcoming Air Force 1 Mid “Star-Spangled” release for Spring/Summer.
Anchored in a perforated smooth grey leather, the starry cut-out can be seen from the toe to the midfoot and collar. The striking effect is countered by a set of unassuming tumbled grey leather overlays and tonal branding throughout. The pair is then capped off with vintage-look laces and sole units, and standard brushed nickel AF-1 dubrares.
A release date for this new “Star-Spangled” Air Force 1 Mid is yet to be revealed but with official images now available, one would suggest that a release is happening very soon.
