The Air Force 1 Mid Gets Winterized Again in 2023

As winter sets in, Nike keeps us ahead of the harsh elements, introducing a formidable companion to its Winterized series - a winter-ready twist on the iconic Air Force 1 Mid silhouette.

In sync with its Low-cut kin, the AF-1 Mid has a palette juxtaposing muted tans with bold blacks. It champions an outdoor-inspired aesthetic, seen in its use of ripstop uppers, hiking boot-inspired laces, and flecked sole units that pay homage to the early Nike ACG era. The tongue and outsole drenched in bold black frame the design, sandwiching layers of tonal tans. A flash of Dark Russet on the tongue tag ties together the design, linking this piece to its Air Force 1 Low counterparts.

Like the previously leaked Winterized Air Force 1 Low "Phantom," the Mid version retains elements crucial for braving the cold. The protective shell-like toe box construction, reminiscent of winter boots, is paired with a ripstop mid-panel for enhanced water resistance and warmth. The black Swoosh and overlays provide a visual break and a reinforcement to the sneaker's robust aesthetics.
