Having released at select Swoosh accounts in Asia late last year, we came to the consensus that these “Hologram” Air Forces 1s were never intended to release Stateside. Fast forward almost 6 months, and finally, the pair has hit this side of the Pacific.

Boasting a patterned rear panel in the titular 3D finish, the pair is quite obviously focused on the rear end. But the closer you look the more you’ll find, from iridescent piping at the forefoot and heel, and tongue, the latter fixed with pixelated branding. Insoles and aglets are hit with a surprising Racer Blue finish, while toes, tongues, and Swooshes assume the silhouettes traditional format. completing the design is a very underutilized icy-blue translucent sole unit beneath.
