The stylistic trend of shoe jewelry has become the latest market-favorite finish for footwear brands. Everything from Cuban links to blinged-out lace rings — and even lucky charms — has hit a handful of classic silhouettes in order to add extra Instagram-worthy elements. Other than that, there’s really nothing else that remembers the retro relic — though the pair is extremely tasteful. Sail leathers host dual overlays of Cahsmere leather and suede, with tonal glaze and suede Checks in cream. Pops of ruby red hit the off-center tongue tags, insoles, and midsole detail, the latter sitting just below a stuck-on rubber panel of two-tone orange. Completing the design is a sail midsole unit and underfoot tread, the latter trimmed with semi-translucent peach rubber.
