Where to Buy the Tear-Away Air Force 1

Nikecontinues to put the creativity in your hands, with yet another customizable release — this time in the form of a Tear-Away Air Force 1 Low.

It follows on from a slew of customizable sneakers, led by a similarly-styled Stranger Things pack from late last year. Like that capsule, this Tear-Away Air Force 1features hidden layers beneath its corduroy-like upper, but after a few people burnt (and melted) their Stranger Things Tailwinds, Nike has issued this release with a few cautions. Cutting lines and “Pull Here” detail on the Swoosh and toebox encourage you to tear away straight away, but if you’re new to it all, Nike has included a few do’s and don’ts on the shoe’s PVC packet; Don’t burn ’em and don’t cut through the seams and leather are the two most important notes. Revealed underneath the frail upper is an all-leather base, with each panel colored in its own unique hue. From what was revealed by Nike in their official photos, we can see orange toe boxes, blue toe and heel overlays, pastel pink mid panels, forest green quarters, golden eyelets and vivid red Swooshes. It’s unclear whether the opposing sneaker will mirror this, or have its own unique combo of colors. Completing the design is a classic white sole unit and special graphic insoles.
