The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Cincinnati Reds" is set to return for Holiday 2026, marking the first time the colorway has been seen since its original 2011 release.

Inspired by Ken Griffey Jr.’s tenure with the Cincinnati Reds, the pair remains one of the more recognizable team-themed executions of the signature silhouette.

The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 "Cincinnati Reds" features a bold varsity red upper contrasted by crisp white overlays that wrap the mudguard and midfoot. Black detailing lands on the Swoosh, lace system, and midsole accents, creating a balanced three-tone palette that mirrors the Reds’ team colors. The ankle strap is stamped with Griffey’s signature “24” branding, a nod to the number he wore during his time in Cincinnati.

Underfoot, visible Air units in the heel and forefoot provide the cushioning setup that defined the model’s late-’90s performance appeal. The sculpted midsole and aggressive outsole pattern maintain the cross-training influence that helped make the Griffey line distinct within Nike’s baseball and training categories.
