Nike’s impending “101” collection is fairly vague in its inspiration; but what we do know is that the collection will be an extensive one, as it branches out to more than a handful of silhouettes. Next in the queue is the Nike Air Huarache “101”, and it brings with it a few familiar traits to the series.
Pairing bright whites with pack-specific hues of orange, light blue, and mint green, the pair slots into the series with ease. Cracked leather returns to the pair’s overlays, with neoprene booties split between orange and blue. Liners arrive in silky gold satin, with outsoles of light gum mirroring the colors underfoot. White caging and midsoles add extra brightness to the release, before being finished off by 101-branded insoles and tongues tags.
