Nike Air Huarache OG “Purple Punch” Releasing Again in 2022

Back for its 30th birthday bash, the Nike Air Huarache has been blessed by reiusses of countless original colorways and the silhouette’s most famous collaboration with Stussy, as well as some fan favorites from years past. But there’s never anything quite like an OG, and with that comes word (and official images) that the OG Nike Air Huarache “Purple Punch” is making a comeback soon!

Last seen in 2018, the Purple Punch is heralded as one of the best from Tinker’s original litter, thanks to its simplistic arrangement and its statement one-color pop of purple. It shows more versatility than the Magenta-clad colorways, and a lot of that can be pinned down to its use of just three colors; white, black and purple. For 2021, you can expect much of the same, with the pair arriving as true as possible to the OG, where white leather overlays hold in the black and purple neoprene below, while toe box mesh remains the purest of whites. Black caging holds in place a purple rear clip, while a simple white midsole and black rubber outsole combo completes the colorway in in true-to-OG fashion.

Though a release date did not accompany the official image set below, you should expect to see pairs of this OG Nike Air Huarache “Purple Punch” hit select retailers soon.
