The Nike Air Max 1 '86 “Blue Safari” Releases June 16

As we approach the Summer of 2023, the Swoosh is gearing up to launch new iterations of the original "Big Bubble" runner. Our attention now turns to the forthcoming Nike Air Max 1 '86 "Blue Safari" release, a nod to Tinker Hatfield's iconic "Safari" print, from which he drew inspiration from an ostrich-skin couch during a visit to a furniture store.

This version of the Nike Air Max 1 is swathed in a Light Smoke Grey and Diffused Blue color scheme. The sneaker features a mesh foundation complemented by textile overlays, culminating in a design that's both breathable and sturdy. Suede Swooshes further enhance the sneaker's aesthetics, while the iconic safari print adorns the mudguards, adding a touch of exotic charm. Distinctive "Nike" branding graces the tongue labels, insoles, and heel embroidery, maintaining the shoe's brand identity. The silhouette is completed with an extended visible Air unit in the heel, an aged-like midsole, and a Blue rubber outsole, providing superior comfort and grip.
