Nike’s “DNA CH.1” Pack Makes the Air Max 1 and Air Huarache Swap OG Colorways

Tinkering with Tinker’s classics.

Nike is tinkering with the DNA of two of it’s most celebrated silhouettes, the Air Max 1 and Nike Huarache, in a special edition pack dubbed “DNA CH.1”.

Both designed by sneaker God Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 1 and Air Huarache swap OG colorways, materials and outsole blockings for two homage-riddled releases. The Air Max 1 arrives in the Huarache’s “Scream Green” colorway, complete with neoprene underlays, tongues, liners, and toe boxes, and plastic heel clip overlays. The Huarache honors the OG Air Max 1 by utilizing a white mesh toe box, overlayed by red suede, as well as grey nubuck midfoot overlays and Air Max 1-blocked outsole.
