The Nike Air Max 1 continues to expand its roster of bold colorways for Fall 2025, with its latest entry arriving in a striking “Batman”-inspired palette.
While not an official collaboration with DC Comics, this upcoming release nods to the Dark Knight with a bold mix of black, grey, and yellow tones.
The design matches the Air Max 1’s original construction, pairing a mesh base with suede and leather overlays. A smooth yellow leather mudguard wraps around the toe, matching the Swoosh, tongue logo, and branded heel embroidery. Up top, grey suede covers the quarters and heel, while deep black hits dominate the mesh underlays, tongue, and midsole to complete the Gotham-themed look. A black rubber outsole sits below, housing a visible Air unit in the heel.
This release follows closely on the heels of the Air Max 95 “Batman” drop in Europe and continues Nike’s apparent interest in referencing pop culture through color blocking. Though unofficial, the name fits—evoking the Caped Crusader’s familiar costume colors without the need for licensing or logos.
Expect the Nike Air Max 1 “Batman” to release in Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers.
