Air Max 1 “Dark Teal Green” Confirmed for April 15th Release

Nike’s brief intermission of Air Max 1 releases really didn’t sit well for a lot of Air Maxheads around the globe, many of which think it should be a year-rounder release. Bu with the Swoosh putting the OG Air Max silhouette on ice while they focused on their birthday models in the Air Max 90 and Air Max 95, many had been waiting patiently for its next release. Now, after receiving a duo of Anniversary options in Orange and Green earlier this year comes this two-piece pack of leather-constructed beauties — again in Orange and Green.

Both the Nike Air Max 1 “Dark Teal Green” and “Martian Orange” arrive in a build identical to this month’s “Mystic Dates” all the way down to it’s forefoot mini Swoosh. Uppers keep their traditional color blocking of a white base and soft grey paneling across the midfoot and heel, though it’s classic textile and suede fabrications are traded for thick-cut leathers. Mudguards and Swooshes also arrive in leather in their respective hue of choice. Underfoot remains unchanged, with classic white midsoles and translucent Air units sit atop a tri-tone rubber outsole to complete the design.
