The Nike Air Max 1 “Deep Royal Blue” Drops August 10

As you would expect from any significant anniversary year, the Air Max 1 is coming on in droves as it prepares for its 35th birthday in 2023. From OG remasters to whimsical colorways inspired by vinyl toys, Tinker Hatfield’s revolutionary trainer is poised for a colossal year. The next to join the long list of releases is on the simpler side, as the Nike Air Max 1 “Deep Royal Blue” does little to deviate away from it’s roots.

Clean white mesh uppers work with light grey suede overlays that harken back to the silhouette’s early days. From there, Swoosh and mudguards arrive in the titular blue hue, with liners and rear branding to match. Bold black are then brought in at the Swoosh, upper eyestays, and Air supports, with underfoot rubber tread colored to match.
