It’s raining Air Max 1’s today, with the unveiling of a third new colorway today confirming an onslaught of the silhouette for the back-end of 2022. This time, it’s the premium denim-clad Air Max 1 “Dirty Denim” — a pair that was originally expected to form part of the brand’s Air Max Month celebrations.
Providing a feel of a comfortable pair of jeans, the pair looks to dusty suede of the titular blue-green hue, complete with contrast sail stitching to mimic the classic garment. A literal approach is taken to that theme, with blue denim twill covering the midfoot and heel, with Deep Royal Blue Swoosh overlays, liners, and tongue tags working well within the color spectrum. Sail laces join upper eyestays of the same color, with the pair then completed by Lemon Wash midsoles and heritage gum rubber outsoles underfoot.
Though reasons for its initial delay are not known, loaded official imagery for the release would suggest that a drop is nearing. Until then, enjoy an official look at the Air Max 1 “Dirty Denim” here below, and as always, keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates on its release.
