As we head deeper into the sunny season, Nike introduces a vibrant twist to the iconic Air Max 1 silhouette. This newest edition mirrors a recently previewed Nike Dunk Low, both shoes making use of a special topographic terrycloth textural construct, a refreshingly innovative touch that's perfectly in tune with the summer season.
Similar to the Dunk Low, this Air Max 1 comes entirely draped in a singular color. While the Dunk Low sports a cool University Blue, the Air Max 1 is decked out in a strikingly bright volt, its electrifying tennis ball hue making a bold statement for the summer months.
In terms of texture, the Air Max 1 showcases the terrycloth textile on its upper, leaving the overlays exclusively for the vibrant leather. Furthering the palette, the Swoosh overlays and tongue tags adopt a barely-volt tint and a pearl-like print that subtly adds depth and complexity to the design. To round out the look, vibrant Air supports and rubber outsoles complement the upper, creating a cohesive aesthetic.
The release date for this Air Max 1 has just been confirmed by retailer SSENSE for August 25
