Now, more than a decade later, the icon re-emerges from the archives, reimagined for the Holiday 2023 season as the "Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0".

The original release was a standout piece in Nike’s "Greatest Hits" collection, which also featured revered designs such as the Nike Air Stab "Runnin’ Gunnin" and the Nike Air Max 90 "King of the Mountain". This follow-up iteration pays homage to its predecessor while carving out its own unique identity.

The "Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0" is draped in a symphony of luxurious hues and textures. The base layer of "White" mesh sets a pristine backdrop for the "Pearl White" leather and "Vast Grey" fabric overlays. "Cedar" accents reminiscent of the first edition highlight the silhouette's classic features, including the distinctive Air Max bubble, a tribute to the Pompidou Centre that originally sparked Hatfield's imagination.

An off-white midsole subtly nods to the sneaker's lineage, marrying past and present in a design language that speaks to both heritage and innovation. As a successor to one of the standout releases from the "Greatest Hits" pack, the "Keep Rippin Stop Slippin 2.0" captures the essence of the Air Max 1's journey through the years.
