Following special-edition releases of the Nike Air Trainer 1 and Air Force 1 Low earlier this month, Nike will continue its celebration of Latin heritage month with three more themed releases this October, including this Nike Air Max 1 “La Familia”

Centered around a burlap and suede construction, the pair looks to natural light tan shades for its textile upper, whilst the woven tongues, vamp overlays, and heel caps arrive dyed in orange. Suede overlays match that, with a rich orange hue covering the mid-foot and mudguard; the latter debossed with traditional floral motifs. Swooshes are stitched on in two ways — outlined on the medial, and tack-stitched suedes on the latter — both arriving in golden yellow hues. A tinge of green at the eyestays link back to the special graphic insoles, with the exterior undercarriage migrating back to warm, earthy hues of sail (midsole), orange (Air supports), and light gum (rubber outsole) to complete the design.

The pair is expected to release alongside an accompanying Nike Dunk High and a second Air Force 1 Low.

This new Nike Air Max 1 “La Familia” and the wider Latin Heritage Month collection are currently expected to release in October 2022, though firm dates for the collection have not yet been identified.
