As the leaves change and the air cools, Nike's autumnal footwear lineup traditionally embraces the season with various tan-colored options. For 2024, however, Nike is taking a different approach, opting for premium tan leather designs over the usual Flax suede sentiments. Hot on the heels of the recently revealed "Since 1982" Air Force 1 Low comes a like-minded Air Max 1 that perfectly captures the essence of fall.

This version of the Air Max 1 is anchored in "Light Bone" mesh, providing a neutral base that allows the richer tones to stand out. It features suede overlays in Light British Tan and smooth Flax leather mudguards, creating a sophisticated, multi-textural look. A bold black Swoosh cuts across the midfoot, offering a striking contrast against the earthy backdrop.

Underfoot, striking white EVA midsoles provide crisp definition, while seasonal Grind Rubber-flecked gum rubber soles add a touch of classic autumn style with enhanced sustainability. The design is given an additional pop of color with punch pink branding on the tongue and heel and the visible Air supports, injecting a vibrant twist into the otherwise subdued palette.
