Available Now // Nike Air Max 1 “Parachute”

Nike’s plentiful “Parachute Pack” continues to pepper in more pairs, with this Air Max 1 the latest to join the colorful crop.

Similar to last year’s “Windbreaker” Air Max 1, the OG Air Max gets reworked in a colorful palate that pops off against heavy black and bright white bases. The sneaker also gets retooled with split panels, utilitarian laces and lace stays, and heavy-duty underlays, with mid panels printed with aero-acrobatic lettering — all details you’d find present in a late-80’s skydiving instructor’s get-up. Like the pack’s accompanying pairs, colorful Nike-branded parachute motifs are included — found here on the tongues and insoles — with matching hues found throughout the outsole and upper. Completing the design are vivid red patent leather Swooshes, liners and forefoot mini Checks in volt green, more patent on the forefoot and heel mudguard overlays, and a classic white midsole.

A release date for the “Parachute” Nike Air Max 1 and it’s accompanying collection is still yet to be revealed, but you can expect pairs to start arriving at select Swoosh stockists soon.
