Cut (out) from a different cloth.
Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 1was cut from a different cloth. Hell, Tinker himself is so unique that only he could dream of something so wild. And now, 32 years on, the Air Max 1 continues to reinvent itself, further establishing itself as one of the most unique offerings to ever come out of Beaverton. Next up for the Swoosh-Branded Icon (or in this case, Swooshless icon) is this retooled Premium rendition, set to arrive just in time for Summer.
Sporting a cool blue mix, which also incorporates Pure Platinum, Vast Grey, and Summit White. This Premium Air Max 1 comes retooled with textured materials — similar to these recent Air Max 97s — at the heel and ankle, and patterned suede on the blue-tint mudguard and white lace overlay. Cut-out Swoosh motifs expose grey mesh underlays for a unique look, and the pair is finished off with a pop of royal at the upper eyelet and embroidered heel detail, along with an ice cold barely-blue outsole.
Grab an official look at the pair below, which is already available at select overseas stores like Hype DC — With a US release to follow shortly.
