Nike Sportswear's Air Max 1 retro program has waned in popularity over the last two years, but that hasn't stopped the Swoosh from offering Tinker Hatfield's industry-changing design in handfuls of different styles. The latest delivers a stealthy "Black/Anthracite" look.
Widely compared to the popular Air Jordan 4 "Black Cat" that debuted in 2006, the newly-surfaced sneaker features pitch-dark suede across its upper. Labels and hardware also indulge in an understated finish, as does the Air Max-assisted sole unit underfoot.
Firm Nike.com release details for the "Black"-clad Air Max 1 haven't surfaced as of yet, but that's expected to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy detailed shots of the pair—courtesy of size?.
