As we wait eagerly in anticipation of the annual Air Max Month celebrations — and the return of the OG “Big Bubble”— Nike has delighted us with drip-fed leaks of accompanying Air Max 1 designs for the occasion. This corduroy-clad Air Max 1 “Coral Stardust” is next to appear, which joins a matching design in “Baltic Blue” for release this Spring.

Dressed from toe-to-tail in corduroy of the titular blue hue, the pair deviates only once on the upper, with Swoosh overlays of “Bright Coral” arriving at the midfoot — also in corduroy. Looking at the pair’s finer details, you’ll note “Oxen Brown” liners and upper eyestays, shared coral and brown tongue tags, sail-tinted midsoles, and rubber outsoles returning to match the liners above.
