The Nike Air More Uptempo won’t be the only Air-riddled model to receive a slip-on variant this Air Max Month, with first and official looks at an impending Nike Air Max 1 Slide appearing today.

Set to arrive in a slew of colorways — both new and OG-influenced — this release keeps things true to the original Air Max release. White mesh uppers, neutral grey suede overlays, and bright Sprot Red nubuck guards fit out the forefoot overlay, complete with OG-inspired tongue tags sitting front and center. The footbed borrows cues from Tinker’s original design, too, with the exposed Air unit in the back and outsole tread honoring Hatfield’s original Air Max undercarriage.
