It took a little while for things to heat up for the Air Max 1 in this, its 35th anniversary year, but with Air Max Day activities and collaborations from Kasina and Travis Scott now behind us, we can now look forwards to what will hopefully be a fruitful run of general releases for the summer — including this new ladies-exclusive Nike Air Max 1 “Tour Yellow”

Bringing in elements of the past with new twists, all the while bringing about a beautiful seasonal scheme, here, you’ll find traditional color blocking of white uppers, grey midfoot overlays, and color bombs along the mudguard, Swoosh, Air support, and branding placements. The materials are tweaks, though, from fresh mesh at the toe, to overlays of all tumbled leather that put a fresh finish on the pair. Greys used are also significantly lighter than the OG releases, which really brings home the summery scheme.

A release date for the Nike Air Max 1 “Tour Yellow” has been confirmed in Europe for August 24th; a wider global rollout is yet to be disclosed.

Nike UShas confirmed a release for the Nike Air Max 1 “Tour Yellow” for September 27. Look for pairs to arrive right here on their official webstore from 10 am ET for $160.
