Tinker Hatfield’s legendary Air Max 1 continues to build momentum as we inch closer to Nike’s annual Air Max Day celebration, with yet another new release joining the ranks. Headlined by the return of the OG “Big Bubble,” the Air Max Month celebration will be joined by a handful of playful colorways, including “Safari” and “Tiger Swoosh” selections — but not everything is animal print this month, as this all-new Nike Air Max 1 “Unlock Your Space” has appeared in a mix of holographic, reflective, and gradient finishes.
Appearing by way of official Nike.com imagery today, the new release learn on a mostly white and beige build, with the former dressing the mesh upper, midfoot overlay, and midsole. At the same time, buttery sails sit on the vamp, mudguard, and reflective heel overlays. All of this is sandwiched between color pops at the sole (ice blue) and sunset-gradient liners. Swoosh overlays feature holographic, with warped Swoosh motifs and organic shapes working uniquely across the four overlays. Finer details include a trio of mini Swooshes embroidered at the forefoot, special graphic insoles, and “Unlock Your Space” printed just below the lateral Air window in black and glow finishes.
