Are we on the verge of an Air Max 270 resurgence? It seems that way, with more and more colorways of the 2018 silhouette sneaking through to shelves this season. First, it was this Kentucky-themed release, before a duo of bright white and orange bangers hit— and we’re loving it. Now there’s another, again in white and orange, this time toning down both blocking and hues for a simple tonal “Crimson Bliss” release.
The lifestyle silhouette hit the market running at the start of 2018, which housed — at the time — the biggest Air Unit in the history of Nike. Of course, that title didn’t last long, with the Air Max 720 unveiled just 12 months later. But despite being overshadowed so quickly, the silhouette established itself as a favorite over the course of its short shelf life. It has, however, been on hiatus for a minute, but that all appears to be turning around.
This new option arrives with a tonal light peach upper that engulfs everything from tow-to-tail, including the pair’s branding. The rear clip and Air unit follow suit, as does the underfoot traction pad, while a contrasting crisp white forefoot sole completes the design.
