Despite its iconic forefathers, the Air Max 90/= and 95, stealing the attention with both sharing significant milestones in 2020, the Nike Air Max 270 React has been quietly adding to its catalog in the background to keep its growing fan base satisfied. This latest inclusion continues a recent trend of outdoor-inspired colorways — as seen here on a mountaineering AM270 — and get’s us ready for exploring the great outdoors this Fall.
This aforementioned earthly inspired inclusion uses beige and tan suedes to construct the foundation of the upper which plays host to desaturated violet and lime green suede overlays throughout the upper deck. Down below at the bedrock of this pair we see a tan React midsole unit which fully encapsulates the large semi-translucent 270 Air cushioning techs that have been tinted with an orange-to-purple gradient, a white and brown glittery rubber outsole to provide superior traction. Completing the design and offering an abundance of character is the orange swoosh, multi-colored laces, beacon-print lace stays and heel tab, and the sheepskin like lining for added warmth and insulation.
