The Nike Air Max 270 React ENG “Neon” Nods the OG Air Max 95

The Air Jordan 4 and Air Max Plus 3 aren’t the only sneakers that will be paying tribute to the Air Max 95 in this, it’s 25th anniversary year, with the brand’s wild Air Max 270 React ENG next in line to don the original “Neon” duds.

More in-line with the OG Max than the recently-previewed Air Jordan 4, the pair takes on a white mesh base and light grey textile overlay for its base, and issues a gradient-like effect through its wavey plastic overlays. Mid grey toe caps and dark grey eyelet overlays arrive in fine suedes, while jet black sole units and a reflective heed panel continue the connection. Neon accents on the eyelets and Air Unit create further consistency, before the pair’s modern embellishments like added pulls, lace locks, and bold branding hits remind us that this pair is made for the now.

A release date for the Nike Air Max 270 React ENG “Neon” did not accompany the official image set below, but you can expect to see this arrive in the leadup to the annual Air Max Day Celebrations this March.
