adidas may have signed an official allegiance with the face of gaming in Ninja, but it’s not stopping their opposition from riding the wave in their on mainline releases. Nike, who has already had it’s game-themed Blazer leaked, along with a matching Air Max 90 a few days back— and now it will be adding another pixelated pair to their lineup in much the same styling. This time it’s the Air Max 270 React “Have a Good Game” that tackles the running theme, with like white uppers, pixelated Swooshes, colorful gradients, and shiny iridescents.
Uppers arrive in crisp white ripstop, with sweeping overlays in gradient and chrome, whilst iridescent eyelet overlays provide further intrigue above. The pack’s removable patches have been omitted in favor of straight-up stitching at the tongue, though the glitchy pixelated Swoosh remains prominent in jet black. Underfoot is relatively tame, with a white React midsole and semi-translucent black rubber outsole completing the design.
