Although it’s stepped to the side amidst the Air Max 90/95 anniversary celebrations, Nike’s hybrid cushioned Air Max 270 React has been quietly building a solid run of releases in the background. Now, as we draw towards to tail end of Summer, the dual tech trainer returns with another low-key heater, this time in a retro 90’s palette.
Much like this previously-previewed Air Max 95, this AM270 React dons a white and grey base that lets its punch pink and purple accents fly. The former graces the Swoosh in neon, while the latter rides the tongue and heel in a Concord-like hue. Embroidered branding throughout the pair is split between the two and the tongue, heel and insole. Clean white React midsoles link in with a fully-translucent rear Air bubble before turning to jet black for the underfoot traction.
