Nike Air Max 270 React Appears with Elegant Animal Prints

Although it’s stepped to the side amidst the Air Max 90/95 anniversary celebrations, Nike’s hybrid cushioned Air Max 270 Reacthas been quietly building a solid run of releases in the background. Now, as we draw towards to tail end of the year, the dual tech trainer returns with another low-key heater — this time with a little safari steez.

Donning a light-yet-earthy base of cream, sail, bone, and white, the pair presents in a very light, bright aesthetic. Sail mesh bases work with tonal overlays, as well as lightly-feathered creams at the toe and heel that help distinguish the stark white of the midsole. Outsoles beneath feature a hue somewhere between a cream and the bone of the Swooshes at the midfoot, before being capped off with faux animal prints at the tongue, upper eyelet, and rear. Completing the design is a barely-there peach finish for the tongue’s brand embroidery — a color that’s more pronounced on the insole glaze.
