Nike Air Max 720 ISPA “Metallic Silver” Makes its Way to Market on March 13
Nike’s new ISPA division — an acronym for “Improvise, Scavenge, Protect, Adapt”, the basic rules of survival — has already produced a heap of cross-category beasts. The aim of the sub-division is to design insane styles that blend computational design with the crazy. And out of the label’s entire catalog thus far, there’s none more out-there than the Air Max 720 ISPA, the alienist, maximal sneaker that even Kanye West couldn’t resist trying on.
Taking in a multitude of inspiration, from outer space to the great outdoors (to even biology) it’s clear to see that these were made for exploration, be it urban or interstellar — even the boxing looks a government-issued top-secret file. Rugged outsoles, dual pulls and vibrant pops of color give the sneakers a hint of the brand’s ACG flair, while alien-esqe wavy uppers and amoeba-like patterns make the sneaker so extra that it fits int the ISAP ethos. The next edition arrives in a mix of metallic silver, black, olive-grey and vibrant red, with 3M reflective panels and big-bubbled Air completing the design.
Pairs of these incredibly audacious Airs are set to arrive on March 13th at the select stores listed below. Don’t forget to head on over to our Nike Release Dates Calendar to set yourself a calendar notification for the drop!
