This Nike Air Max 720 OBJ “Canyon Gold” takes inspiration from the natural world to counterpoint to the shoe’s futuristic look. He does so by calling upon base layers of white and Pure Platinum mesh and leather, with matching liners and midsole pieces to boot. Earthy “Canyon Gold” hues are draped over the pair by-way-of suede overlays at the toe, forefoot, and heel, with the color returning again on the asymmetrical tongue pulls and tongue Nike Air Branding. Translucent-gum outsoles take a back seat to the signature red sole splash, and the corked insoles add a touch of extra comfort. Capping off the pair — and likely riding the LeBron/Lakers wave — are trail-inspired “Hyper Grape” laces.
