Arguably Football’s biggest sneakerhead, Odell Beckham Jr. has always turned heads thanks to his player-exclusive warm-up cleats and his forever changing sneaker rotation off the field. Now OBJ is continuing his slew of signature kicks with an all-new duo Nike Air Max 270 OBJ Slip “University Blue” and “Summit White”.
Breaking down the duo we can see both pairs construction are identical in the execution and materials used. The uppers are comprised of a myriad of fibers such as suede, leather, mesh and nylons that results in a unique textured appeal, dual straps — similar to that of a Nike Air Raid — criss-cross the shoe for a secure fit rather than laces. The high-tech Air Max 270 semi-translucent sole rides underneath for performance and an on-trend futuristic aesthetic, the Pairs only differ only in color options. Firstly, we have a “University Blue” that’s tonal hues varies only on the different panels of materials, black contrasting the clips, centerline, heel pull and branding. Respectively, we are presented with “Summit White” which like its sibling varies only in white tones across the medley of textiles, neon dimples located on the clips and swoosh, red and blue stitching likewise with the alternate insoles complete the designs.
Both pairs will be available this April from Nike.com for a price point of $200 apiece, with a confirmed release date to follow. Keep it locked on our official Twitter account for further updates — but until then, take in a detailed look at both pairs here below.
