Nike Air Max 90 Futura “Triple White” Arrives May 19th

The Air Max 90 will continue on strong into 2022, with the 32-year-old silhouette surfacing in a slew of new options for Spring. Amongst the plentiful comes a brand new design, dubbed the Air Max 90 Futura, in a debut “Triple White” color scheme.

Though no description is necessary for the colorway — it’s a true white-on-white release — our focus will be on the pair’s multi-faceted construction. Working through multiple meshes, textured synthetics, and leathers, the pair has no shortage of material. Though there’s no defined starting point, one would suggest that a mesh midfoot and toe is the base layer, with organic-shaped overlays at the toe, midfoot, and eyestays tacked on in a deconstructed-like approach. Collars are extended down lower towards the ankle, whilst added pulls and lengthened tongues accentuate the extra height. Brand panels and heel overlays are significantly smaller — and feature minimal or no branding at all — with the only unadulterated feature — the sole unit – resting underfoot to complete the design.

A release date for this new Air Max 90 Futura “Triple White” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the Spring/Summer season.
