The Air Max 90 GORE-TEX Gears Up in Black and Grey

As autumn sets in, Nike gears up to fortify its iconic models against the elements, partnering with Gore-Tex to infuse weather-resistant prowess into its esteemed lineup. While we've seen this protective upgrade grace silhouettes like the Air Force 1, the equally-iconic Nike Air Max 90 is the latest to join the ranks of this collaborative venture.

This time, the Tinker Hatfield creation takes a step back from the usual color play, opting for a sophisticated, monochromatic theme. The ensemble commences with a deep, dark grey ballistic mesh as its foundation, contrasted subtly by the encircling leather overlays in a marginally lighter shade. The greyscale narrative continues unabated into the midsole and inner lining while striking black crashes like a wave over the upper overlay, laces, heel counter, and prominently into the Gore-Tex insignia at the mid-foot.

This pair is just one of several Nike x GORE-TEX efforts for the season ahead, with the series kicking off on Nike.com on October 1st; A release date for this specific colorway is penned for December 12, 2023.
