Nike Air Max 90 “Metallic Pack” Arriving on Air Max Day

With the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo right around the corner, we’re starting to see a slew of themed sneaker selections hit the market. We already know of a “Tokyo” Air Jordan 3 and the possible return of 2001’s “Japan Pack” of Air Jordan 1s, as well as a five-pack of Olympic Ring-colored Air Max 97s — and earlier this week we previewed a “Gold Medal” Air Max 97. Now it appears that there will be a medley of medal-themed Air Max options arriving this Spring, with a three-piece Air Max 90 “Metallic Pack” tipped to land soon.

After first reporting the pack back in January, official looks at the Gold, Silver, and Bronze trio have now surfaced, Each pair sits atop a clean all-white sole unit, while uppers arrive decked out in a completely metallic finish, save the quarter panel’s “AIR MAX” in-cut panel. Capping off the designs are tonal laces, liners and insoles — the latter printed with clean white Nike Air branding.

A release date for the Air Max 90 “Metallic Pack” has been locked in for an Air Max Day release on March 26th, with a list of retailers and raffle to follow shortly.
