Nike Air Max 95 “Vivid Purple” Steps Boldly Into Fall

Nike continues its Air Max 95 Big Bubble rollout with a new colorway that keeps things moody and modern. Dubbed the “Vivid Purple,” this pair adds another clean option to the emerging line of retrofitted classics—this time opting for a sleek, almost stealthy approach.

The upper sticks to the Air Max 95’s familiar DNA, featuring a mix of mesh, suede, and synthetic overlays arranged in its signature gradient. Shades of black and dark grey dominate the base, while vivid purple branding subtly yet effectively contrasts the tongue, heel, and Swoosh embroidery. The same bright hue also animates the visible Air units in the forefoot and heel, bringing a welcome pop to the otherwise muted build.

But the standout feature here is what lies beneath—Nike’s larger-volume heel Air unit returns, delivering a visual update to the beloved silhouette and a nod to the original 1995 design. The bubble is segmented with a defined seam around the heel, differentiating it from traditional Air Max 95 releases and enhancing stability underfoot.

With no firm release date locked in yet, the Nike Air Max 95 “Vivid Purple” is expected to land at Nike.com and select retailers in Fall 2025.
