Nike’s Air Max 95 Has Got the Crabs

Nike is getting a little playful on the Air Max 95 — but we’re not just talking about it’s colorways. Keeping things creative, they’ve crested the crep with a cartoon crab, a mini-motif which makes it’s way onto the trainer’s tongue.
But while the embellishment comes from left field, the time-tested color combo of black, white and red stays right in the Swoosh’s wheelhouse. The uppers anatomy-inspired panels opt for blacks on the top end, before switching to a vibrant orange-red and finally white, before reaching it’s matching midsole. Further hits of the red are found inside the visible Air unit and lace loops, while a black rubber outsole completes the exterior. The aforementioned crustacean comes planted on a 3M reflective tongue, while the insoles opt for a nautical blend of blue and yellow — potentially inspired by the packaging of a popular seafood seasoning,
