The Air Max 95 joins what is now shaping up to be an extensive Nike Sportswear collection, featuring a mix of double-Swooshes, atypical materials, and 60s-futuristic brand marks that read out their respective model’s year of release. For the Air Force 1, it’s ’82; for the Blazer, it’s ’72 — and for the Air Max 95, well, you know.
It tacks on a mix of classic Air Max 95 textiles against contemporary recyclable elements and modern branding like double Swooshes juxtaposed with gained 60s-informed heel motifs. With such wide-spanning inspiration, the pair brings a fairly succinct style — and in timeless hues, too. Here, it’s tonal cream uppers and overlays of multiple materials, with black mesh tongues and lines joining pops of ref for a classic Swoosh look. Underfoot, a staple white midsole hosts two-tone Air supports, while a light grey Grind Rubber outsole rounds out the design.
A release date for this new Air Max 95 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming months.
