Nike Reimagines the Air Max 95 for Golf; "Peony" Pair on the Way

It's official: the Nike Air Max 95 is the latest running silhouette to be modified for the golf course.

Joining styles like the Air Max 1 and Air Max Plus, as well as some within the Air Jordan series, Sergio Lozano's iconic design from 1995 sees its unconventional look reimagined for 18 holes. The upper maintains its traditional, beloved layout and aesthetic, which is animated with a "Peony/Volt Tint/Dusty Cactus/Anthracite" color scheme on one of the golf edition's inaugural looks. Underfoot, the 30th anniversary-celebrating shoe abandons its Big Bubble Air Max unit in favor of visible Air pods that work better with the updated outsole to not sacrifice performance on the green. Visually, however, the presentation falls in line with other AM95 offerings, breathing new life into the decades-old design.
