Nike Air Max 95 “Spring Flower” is the Third Japan-Exclusive Air Max in as Many Days

Japanese sneakerheads have been blessed with banger after banger after banger to kick-start Air Max Month 2020, with a third new regional-exclusive Air Max surfacing in as many days. This time it’s a ladies exclusive Air Max 95 “Spring Flower”, joining yesterday’s “Cherry Blossom” Air Max 95 and the previously-previewed “Mt Fuji” Air Max 95 Utility.

Unlike the other two, this pair sports a vastly different aesthetic in terms of both material and palate, presenting itself in a delicate lace-lined pastel finish. White mesh uppers play host to a myriad of pastel layers, working down from green to purple to blue to peach on the profile, while toecaps come tinted in barely-there pink. Each layer — including the tongue — is then wrapped in the aforementioned lace. Embroidery is done over the top of the fine fabrication, arriving in gold on the mini Swoosh and heel, and a trio of colors on the tongue, and it all rests atop a speckled white midsole and translucent-white rubber outsole. Completing the design is a vibrant floral design underfoot — the same print found on the special-edition Nike Air hangtag.

Like the accompanying “Cherry Blossom”edition, a release for this “Spring Flower” Air Max 95 is pegged for March 14th — again only within the nation of Japan. A wider, global release is unlikely, but you just know pairs will be popping up here on StockX very soon.
