With a heavy focus thrust upon the Air Max 1 and Air Max 97 for their respective anniversaries, you’d expect a model like the Air Max 95 to take a back seat. Wrong. In fact, it’s quite the opposite, with the silhouette surfacing in a slew of new colorways over the past few weeks. While most of those have been treated with earthy palettes, this next release gets a little contemporary, with bright whites and University Blue hues working with neutral suedes for a fresh take on the silhouette for Summer.
The mostly-white construct calls up classic mesh uppers and netted overlays, with tonal tongues, laces, and laces following suit. The two uppermost overlays look to smooth white leathers, before a duo of neutral suede panels present to its inferior and across the toe. A simple white and black sole unit sits below for a fairly simple base. From there, the pair is livened up by a handful of University Blue branding hits, and a small pop of red worked into the tongue. Those two colors combine on the outsole shank to complete the design.
A release date for this all-new Air Max 95 is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the Spring/Summer seasons.
