When Nike gave ACG-designer Sergio Lozano the monumental task of designing the annual Air Max for 1995, the young designer would undoubtedly deliver something he knows best. Despite being inspired by the human rib cage, it’s stacked with ACG design language, which has, over the years, leaned itself to countless outdoor-inspired color schemes. The next to do so is this earthy Air Max 95 “Topographic” which takes a literal approach to terrain.

Classic ACG styling shows a pair anchored in black, with suede overlays of tan brown, and beige, each debossed with topographic pints that reference mountain ranges. All-black sole units underfoot sandwich these panels between the black tongues, before a slew of warm color pops run from red at the Swoosh and upper eyestay, to golden yellow at the toe.

A release date for this new Nike Air Max 95 “Topographic” is yet to be revealed, but you should expect to see pairs hit select stores and Nike.com over the coming weeks.
